Do I need to know how to throw?
Nope. Every group gets a coach to teach them the basics and how to throw safely. First-timers stick the bullseye on day one — that's the whole point.
How much does axe throwing cost?
Pricing varies by location and session length. Most venues start around $20–$35 per person for an hour of throwing. Check your local venue page for exact pricing.
How old do you have to be?
Most venues are 13+ with a guardian, 18+ on your own. Some host kid-friendly birthdays — check your local venue page for specifics.
How long is a session?
Walk-in sessions are typically one to two hours. Private parties and events can be booked for longer blocks. Every group gets a coach to help you stick the bullseye.
Can I bring a group?
Yes — that's most of what we do. Birthdays, bachelor/ette parties, corporate, fundraisers, family reunions. Book your local venue's parties page.
Do you serve drinks?
Every location serves craft beers, seltzers, sodas, and other beverages. Most venues don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring your own or order in.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Beyond that, wear whatever you're comfortable in — jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers are the norm. Skip the flip-flops.
What else is there to do besides throwing?
Every venue has extra activities like ping pong, billiards, jenga, skee-ball, and beer pong. Available games vary by location — check your local venue for the full lineup.

Craft Axe Throwing () has operated recreational axe throwing venues since 2017. As the official website and online reservation platform for the brand, craftaxethrowing.com provides direct access to booking lanes and organizing events. With 10 locations across the South and Midwest United States, Craft Axe is one of the largest axe throwing chains in the region, offering walk-in open throwing, WATL-sanctioned leagues, private parties, corporate events, and splatter paint experiences.

Every venue is staffed with trained coaches who teach first-time throwers how to safely stick the target. No prior experience is required. Most locations welcome guests ages 13 and up with a guardian, and 18 and up independently. Venues are open up to seven days a week* and accept both walk-ins and online reservations directly through the official website at craftaxethrowing.com.
